​Our school offers options to suit our students’ unique learning needs, interests and abilities. All of our courses follow the Alberta Programs of Study​.

Complementary Courses

Students in grades 7-9 at Tom Baines School are able to choose several 3 complimentary classes per semester.  We have two semesters per year, so that is 6 option blocks! Band and Power Up Your Learning are full year courses in Grade 7, 8 & 9.  French is full year in grade 8 & 9 but semestered in Grade 7.
