Attendance

It is important that you call the school if your child is going to be absent or arriving late.

We encourage on-going communication between home and school. Please feel free to call, or email the school if you have questions or concerns. Information will be forwarded through your child’s agenda, which should be checked daily, as well as email, voicemail and this website.

It is critical that we have a current record of contact information on file so we can reach you or other emergency contacts. We know that the success of your student is dependent on a strong partnership between families and the CBE. If you have a concern, it can usually be addressed at the classroom level. Your first step is to arrange to speak privately with your child’s teacher. If you feel your issue is still unresolved, please contact your principal. If you and the school are unable to find a resolution, please see our Concerns & Complaints​ page for additional information, including the process to contact your Area Director. ​​​​
