Attendance

It is important that you call the school if your child is going to be absent or arriving late.
Please report all absences to the Attendance Line at 403-777-8060 ext. 1. See more on our Attendance page.

We encourage on-going communication between home and school. Please feel free to call, or email the school if you have questions or concerns. Information will be forwarded through your child’s agenda, which should be checked daily, as well as email, voicemail and this website. 

Office Hours

  • Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Friday: Early Dismissal: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Enhanced Education Support Program (EES)

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:40 – 11:30 AM
  • Lunch: 11:30 – 12:10 PM 
  • Afternoon 12:10 – 2:45 PM
  • Friday: 8:40 AM – 12:40 PM (15 minute recess, no lunch hour)

Kindergarten

  • AM Kindergarten: Monday – Thursday 8:27 – 11:16 AM
  • PM Kindergarten: Monday – Thursday 12:09 – 2:55 PM
  • Friday: 8:27 am – 12:40 PM (15 minute recess, no lunch hour)

Grades 1 – 6 

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:27 – 11:30 AM
  • Lunch: 11:30 – 12:10 PM 
  • Afternoon 12:10 – 2:55 PM

Please notify the school office immediately with any changes of address, telephone numbers (home, business and/or cell), email address or emergency contact numbers. It is critical that we have a current record of contact information on file so we can reach you or other emergency contacts. Please also be sure to provide us with a current copy of any custody agreements.​​

Concerns & Complaints

We know that the success of your student is dependent on a strong partnership between families and the CBE. If you have a concern, it can usually be addressed at the classroom level. Your first step is to arrange to speak privately with your child’s teacher. If you feel your issue is still unresolved, please contact your principal. If you and the school are unable to find a resolution, please see our Concerns & Complaints​ page for additional information, including the process to contact your Area Director. ​​​​
