Meeting Spots for Sept 1st

On September 1, Grades 1-5 students will meet their teachers at pre-designated meeting spots indicated in the Welcome Communication to be sent by teachers at the end of August. Teachers will be at their meeting spot at 8:15 am.

Entry and Exit Doors

After September 1, students will use their regular entry and exit doors. Students are free to enter at 8:27 am.

Kindergarten First Two Days of Classes

We will be utilizing a staggered entry format on the first two days of school. Kindergarten teachers will meet their students outside by the SW doors. Specific information will be shared by August 31st:

Wednesday, September 1 and Thursday, September 2

During staggered entry, only half of the students attend, which enables the teachers to introduce students to class routines in smaller groups and allows more opportunity for the teachers to get know the students.

Depending upon your child’s last name, your child will attend on either the Tuesday OR Wednesday, from either 8:30am-11:16am or 12:09pm to 2:55pm; depending upon whether they are registered for the morning or afternoon class.

  • Morning students with last names beginning with the letters A - K attend on Wednesday, September 1
  • Morning students with last names beginning with the letters L - Z attend on Thursday, September 2
  • Afternoon students with last names beginning with the letters A - K attend on  Wednesday, September 1
  • Afternoon students with last names beginning with the letters L - Z attend on  Thursday, September 2

RT @UsihChristopher: We can all help! The best thing we can do to keep kids in school (and avoid disruption to in-person learning) is to minimize to the greatest extent possible transmission of COVID-19 in our schools. Please get vaccinated ASAP, if you’re eligible. Thank you!
