Thermopylae is an after-school conditioning program open to Grade 4 to 9 students. The program runs 1 to 2 days a week depending on the time of the year. Grade 4 and 5 students focus on proper form and body conditioning. Grade 6 to 9 students focus on proper form with weight training and conditioning. The season finished with the five kilometre Thermopylae obstacle mud race in June.

This afternoon our staff participated in a team building exercise where they raced with water, completed puzzles and had fun working together. It felt great connecting with each other outside on the school grounds. #WeAreCBE

Today our staff deepened our understanding of intergenerational trauma and it’s effects on Indigenous people. We walked away with actions we can take towards reconciliation. Thank you @timothycfox for working with our staff.

Thank you Parent Council for the personalized mugs! 🤩

RT @yyCBEdu: Monday, May 29 is a system-wide non-instructional day so there are no classes for CBE students. It is also the provincial election day – don’t forget to vote! Have a safe long weekend. #WeAreCBE
