What an amazing November we had! Lots to talk about and celebrate.
Thank you to our incredible parents who supported our teachers and staff during Parent Teacher Conferences last Thursday evening. The food was so delicious! We are very thankful and grateful for taking the time to prepare and deliver food to the school for this special evening.
Thank you as well for your feedback regarding Parent Teacher Conferences. We know it was a long night of waiting for many parents. We were thrilled to see so many parents come to the school however; it did cause issues with wait times. We heard your comments and we are working to make adjustments for the spring conferences.
Throughout the month, our students have done amazing work to enhance the culture and sense of community around school.
The Remembrance Day Assembly was one of the best I have ever attended. Many students and staff were involved in making this a respectful event honouring those who have served and continue to serve our country.
The leadership students have been promoting the Veterans Food Bank Drive and will continue to do so into December. If you have non-perishable food items and wish to contribute, please send these items with your child.
Grade 7 Leadership has started a Basketball Club on Tuesday mornings for the grade 4s & 5s.
All of our basketball teams had an amazing season! Jr Boys made it to the semi finals, Jr Girls, Sr Boys and Sr Girls made it all the way to the finals and came home with the banner!
The Valley Creek Bluebots have competed in two robotics competitions and done very well. 2nd and 4th place finishes. They are excited for the next competition coming up in December.
CBE is celebrating 50 years of French Immersion! Each month different French Immersion classes will be involved in experiencing French Cultural activities.
