Please visit our COVID-19 page for the most up-to-date information. Our plan is subject to change throughout the school year as more information becomes available.

One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Under the School Act, a parent society is a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. The school principal is not part of this group. More information can be found in our CBE Administrative Regulation 5001 – School Councils and School/Parent Societies.

Parent Society

Our Parent Society is Known as Super Kids Society

Come to Council: It's for the kids.  We need your help and input!  Come to Super Kids meetings and help make the school a better place for our children’s learning.

Super Kids Society supports Valley View School by providing funding for events and resources. Super Kids will continue to be enriching and engaging opportunities for students. This year, in an effort to support our goals around engaging learning tasks for students, our focus will be the enhancement of learning through the purchase of technology for students. Technology provides all students with the opportunity to access information, present information and learning in a variety of ways, and to express learning and understanding to an audience for feedback.
