Parent-teacher conferences are an opportunity to engage in conversation about your child’s learning. Parents/guardians and teachers are able to connect face-to-face and communicate openly about student learning, especially with respect to areas of strength and areas of growth. They help build and sustain respectful relationships that allow both parties to share information and develop strategies to support student success.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Cancelled: Parent Teacher Conferences
at Western Canada High School

Dear Western Parents:

We look forward to hosting you at our upcoming Student-Teacher- Parent Conferences on Thursday March 19th from 4:30 - 7:00 pm.  To prepare, please:

  • check PowerSchool on the morning of Wednesday March 18th.  Marks and comments from teachers will be up to date.
  • consider bringing  your son or daughter with you.  Teachers appreciate a three way conversation.
  • come to the main office if you don't know who your child's teachers are.  We can print you their schedule.

Given we have over two thousand students and 100 teachers to coordinate, drop in interviews are the most effective.  Please plan your travels accordingly recognizing our Math department tends to be the busiest.  The attached document provides a summary of who is where.

Should you be unable to attend interviews on the 19th, please reach out to teachers through e-mail:

We appreciate your support,
Western Canada High School Staff
