Western Canada High School is proud of its flourishing Fine and Performing Arts Program. Each school year, 50% of the student population is enrolled in at least one of the Fine Arts disciplines (Band, Choir, Dance, Drama, and Visual Arts). Most of the Fine Arts offerings at Western for students entering grade 10 do not require any previous experience or prerequisites. Opportunities are provided in every facet of the Fine and Performing Arts Program for students wishing to pursue excellence.
At the links below, you will find information on all of the entry-level classes available to incoming grade 10 students and the appropriate registration information for those classes.
For current grade 10 and 11 students at Western, information for Fine and Performing Arts course registration and sequence can also be found at the links below.
For PowerSchool course codes, please reference the registration chart available under ‘Resources’ on the right of this page.
We want to help you get involved in our program, so please do not hesitate to contact any one of the Fine and Performing Arts teachers. All teacher contact information is available on the website.
