Social Studies students will find 2 sections of the library most useful:

  • topics related to the Social Sciences will be found in the 300's.
  • topics related to History or Geography will be found in the 900's.

To search for specific resources in the WCHS library collection, use the online Library Catalogue. 


The WCHS Gale Virtual Reference Library has useful e-books for social studies students. 

Look under History and Nation & World to find titles like The Encyclopedia of Genocide & Crimes Against Humanity, Middle East Conflict 2nd Edition, The Encyclopedia of Philosophy or the Worldmark Junior Encyclopedia of Nations.
