Peace Day Walk
The International Day of Peace, also known as Peace Day, was observed at West Springs/ West Ridge School on Monday, September 26, 2016. Students, staff and parents came together to reflect upon peace in our lives and in the world during an assembly and a peace walk around the community. Thank you to all of the parents who joined us on our walk through the wetlands.
Terry Fox Run
Thank you to all who participated in tthe Terry Fox Run. Student, staff and families ran 4218 laps which works out to approximately 2000km. WOW! Students showed great perseverance, determination and teamwork, all the skills embodied by Terry Fox. Donation totals will be added up in the coming weeks.
