What an incredible month this has
been so far! We hope you're enjoying your winter greenery and your child's art
cards that have been making their way home this week! We are so pleased to
share that we have successfully donated 5 truck loads of food, bread and
diapers to Connaught School and were welcomed by a very helpful crew of
students ready to pack and carry all of your generous donations into their
school. Thank you for your generosity!
The inaugural "Denim
and Diamonds" Mom's Night held on Tuesday evening was a tremendous
success! With a vibrant crew of 70 women, we were able to generate over $4000
in proceeds with this one night event! Thank you everyone who attended and
supported our fundraiser for West Springs School.

Thank you to all of you amazing West Springs families who purchased winter greenery and planters! You will have received a fundraising campaign message indicating pick-up date and location earlier this week. Pick-up will be November 29th at 95 Coach Way SW. More information about pick-up time will be sent directly to those of you who placed orders.
Your child's personalized Art Cards have been shipped and are on the way to school! We are hopeful they will be coming home in backpacks this week! Keep an eye out for these in the next few school days. The order turn-around is very quick in order to have them ready for the holidays!
HOT HOT HOT off the press! We are hosting a "Denim and Diamonds" Mom's Night Out on Tuesday, December 6th at Fergus and Bix! Tickets are $20 each and will include a "Mom's Night Out" gift and entry into a "Mom's Night Out" door prize package including a limo, dinner and champagne! Visit WSSDA.ca to get your ticket today! Only 70 tickets are available. Event will also include an "Everything Mom Wants" raffle and a 50/50 for some extra mom funds!

Spirit Day Fun Lunches Are Back!
Spirit Day Fun Lunches are back with more spirit than ever! Spirit Days Fun Lunches for grades 1-4 are already planned for the entire school year! Visit WSSDA.ca to pre-order for the entire year under the Healthy Hunger tab! Our first Spirit Day Fun Lunch is coming up on October 27th.
Parent volunteers are GREATLY NEEDED (and much appreciated!) to help spread the West Springs School Spirit on Fun Lunch Days throughout the year. We are looking for 1 or 2 volunteers per class for each Fun Lunch and sign-ups are available now for October, November and December.
