​Our week of residency with Trickster has been an immersion into creativity and drama. The opportunity to explore creative ways of expression mixed with our goal of Learning from the Land has provided us with a chance to gain insight from unexpected places, explore curriculum through a unique lens and appreciate everything the Land has to teach and share with us. 
 
The residency has enhanced our sense of community, energized our spirit, and promoted new learning. Our show was designed to highlight the diversity of our school, our community and our vast, beautiful and generous land and all who live here. We also wanted to have some fun! On top of the curricular content, themes such as teamwork, critical thinking, flexibility, and resiliency are what we experienced together at WSS. We sincerely thank everyone who made this process such an incredible experience: Trickster team members, volunteers, students and staff. We couldn’t have done it without the generous support of our school council and the WSSDA who funded the residency. Thank you! Together we have created a special gift: enduring memories and connection.
