West View Secondary School is located within the Calgary Young Offender Centre and offers programming for students that have status under the jurisdiction of the Solicitor General and the Youth Criminal Justice Act. All students are supported through an educational program that provides opportunities to develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes that serve to promote their personal growth and ability to contribute in meaningful and positive ways to their families and communities while they pursue a high school diploma.

West View School also supports students in two community based satellite school programs; The Calgary Youth Attendance Centre and The Excel Discovery Program.

West View Secondary School works in close partnership with other youth serving agencies including Enviros, Alberta Health Services and the Alberta Solicitor General.
