Lunchtime

It is important that you call the lunchtime program attendance line if your child is absent. Call 403-777-8430 ext. 1.

Students are asked to bring lunches that do not require heating at school. We are environmentally conscious and recommend reusable containers for lunches so that there is little to no waste of packaging. We compost scrap food.  We also have recycling containers for refundable beverage bottles and tetra-paks. For questions about noon supervision please contact the school office .

Lunch Supervision

The Calgary Board of Education provides students with the option to stay at school for lunch. Lunch Supervision is offered to all students in Grades 1- 6 and in our full-day kindergarten programs for an annual fee. See our Lunch Supervision page for more information.

Brown Bag Lunches

Brown Bag Lunches are now facilitated by www.bb4ck.org .

If you have any gently used or new reusable lunch bags to donate please send to the school.

Festive Foods Lunch Program

If you are new to this school, Festive Foods is a fun lunch program that allows parents to purchase food on specific dates through out the year. Each month, a new lunch order is set up, and parents can choose if they would like to participate in that month's lunch. Not only does this program provide fun food for the students, it also serves as a valuable fundraiser for our school (and of course it gives parents a day off from making lunches)!

Our program is run on an online system called Healthy Hunger. To take part in Festive Foods, all parents must create an account at www.HealthyHunger.ca (please read 'Instructions for Healthy Hunger' under Resources on this page). Registration is easy and we recommend parents sign up right away, so as not to miss out on any lunches. Healthy Hunger resets all accounts at the beginning of each school year to ensure information is correct. Using your same login information, add all students that are participating into the corresponding grade and class.

Allergies

Our school is nut aware. For more information on allergies and/or other health concerns visit our Illness & Medical page.
