Class of 2022 Graduation
We are excited to share that high schools are now permitted to move ahead with plans for graduation ceremonies and celebrations, with the caveat that these events are contingent upon any health measures that may be in place at the time, either provincially or by the CBE.

Event Costs - Updated
Ceremony (Closing Exercises): $60.00 per student; no charge for guests.
Grad Reception and Dance: $120.00 per person, including the graduate.
No need for tickets: A confirmation of payment list will be checked at the door for entry,
with your name and number of guests.
Go to MyCBE/PowerSchool to pay online for the Ceremony. For the Reception/Dance, a limited number of additional tickets are available. Please contact the Business Office at extension 2526 if you wish to purchase a ticket.
Paid On Site Parking: $15 per car for each event upon entrance to Stampede Park.
For those who have ordered Parking Passes for the Stampede Grounds,
They will be handed out to your student during Dress Rehearsal.
Valedictorian & Class Reflection
Congratulations to Annika Johnston, Valedictorian of the Class of 2022! Annika is a French Immersion student “with Honours” who has demonstrated exemplary citizenship, character, and involvement in the school community. To be selected by a committee of one’s peers to represent the graduating class is a special distinction.
Congratulations to Zoe Alcocer Iturriza, who will deliver the Class Reflection! Zoe is a French Immersion student who has also demonstrated exemplary citizenship, character, and engagement. Zoe will reflect on the educational journey of the Class of 2022 and their time together.

Halls B & C - 2:00pm

Rehearsal: Tuesday, May 24, Period 3, Main Gym
Please plan to arrive at the venue by 1:00 p.m. to allow time for students to find their class and get organized for the processional. Do not forget to bring them with you for the Closing Exercises!
Reception & Dance - Thursday, May 26, 2022 - BMO Centre (Stampede Park) –
Hall F – 5:00 to 11:00 p.m.
Theme: “Goal Getter!”
5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Guest arrival, drop off, parking & security check
6:00 – 6:45 p.m. Mix & mingle/photo opps.
6:45 – 8:00 p.m. Reception with both catered and stationed food service; to maximize socialization opportunities, there is no assigned seating
8:00 – 11:00 p.m. Dance the night away with Split Circuit DJ!
Paid Parking (see costs below) – There is a designated drop off area in front of the BMO Centre and parking stalls are available on Stampede Park.
Security personnel are present at all functions held on Stampede Park. Security reserves the right to search all bags entering the hall to ensure the safety of all guests. Unauthorized items, such as alcohol, drugs, or weapons will be confiscated and event attendance will be denied. Guests who leave the venue during the event will not be permitted re-entry.
As it takes some time for guests to enter Stampede Park, drop off grads at the entry, park and go through the security check, doors will open at 5:00 p.m. to allow for guest arrival and entry to the hall. Once you enter the hall, a complimentary coat check will be set up for your convenience. The coat check can accommodate large purses, bags and backpacks.
As there is a wide variety of menu choices, including vegan (ve), vegetarian (v), gluten free (gf) and dairy free (df), no special meal requests will be considered.
Buttered Canapes (passed) – 3 pieces per person:
- AAA Alberta Meatball with Smoked Paprika Tomato Sauce (df)
- House made Vegetable Pakora – coconut mint cream (gf, df, v, ve)
- Individual crust less Bacon and Cheddar Quiche (gf)
Mac ‘n Cheese – 1 piece per person:
- House made creamy macaroni and cheese (gf, v)
- Toppings: Truffle Mushrooms or Crab & Onion (gf, v)
Flat Breads – 2 per person:
- Locally raised chicken, house crafted BBQ sauce, grated mozzarella cheese
- Seasonal roasted vegetables, house crafted tomato sauce, grated mozzarella cheese (v)
Sliders – 2 pieces per person:
- Carved AAA Alberta Beef, Hot Horseradish, soft dinner roll
- Roasted Winter Turkey Breast, Saskatoon chutney, soft dinner roll
Dessert – 1 piece per person:
- Individually plated Strawberry Shortcake, vanilla bean whipped cream
- Fresh Seasonal Fruits
- Coffee, tea and decaf
- Pop bar
- Attendant Served Non Alcoholic Fruit Punch Station
