September School Council & Fundraising Meeting

Welcome back Pratt families! We are hoping that everyone was able to enjoy some of the beautiful warm weather we were fortunate to have this summer. Although we are still in odd times, the nice weather certainly helped our family to cope! We would also like to take a moment to extend warm greetings to all of the new families that have joined the Pratt family this year. We are looking forward to meeting you in person, or virtually throughout the [...]

Sept. 28 - Oct. 2 Update

We are pleased to say that photo day is in the books and if you missed it somehow - retake day is scheduled for October 22. It is of note that students have settled into a new norm of mask wearing and hand sanitization. We are managing protocols of sanitization of technology and spaces other than classrooms. As the days grow cooler, we will examine our lunch time procedures to ensure that we have spaces for students to eat their lunches. This will need to be where students from grades 7-9 share a common space with seating plans and distancing protocols in place. For this reason, we continue to encourage students to eat lunch at home if this is possible within our lunch break. Students who are arriving late in the morning or the afternoon do cause some additional mixing of cohorts as they sign in at the office and therefore expose themselves to others outside of their cohorts.
Terry Fox Run will take place tomorrow during regularly scheduled PE time and we hope that many will observe Orange shirt day on Wednesday September 30
We look forward to spirit week at Pratt October 19 to 23 – organized by our wonderful School Council. See flyer. There will be news of a pumpkin patch again this year at Pratt - look for information over the coming weeks. Enjoy the fall weather this week – stay well and distant from others.
