Woodbine Highlights

  • We provide a supportive and caring learning environment with students at the center of all that we do.

  •  We are a Comprehensive School Health school that actively promotes daily health education and active lifestyle choices through intramurals, sports teams, special activities such as in-line skating, swim program, cross-country/volleyball teams, dance lessons as well as a nutritious snacks program. 
  • We utilize technology as an integral part of the teaching and learning process through a computer lab and classroom based technology (SMART Boards in every classroom). 
  • We offer Calgary Reads,. 
  • Parent volunteers and a very active school council. 
  • Extra-curricular programs (choir, science fair club, student council, volleyball club, cross-country club and chess club) that provide opportunities for students to extend their learning in different ways. 
  • Noon supervision (lunch program) that accommodates students on a full-time or drop-in basis.
