Personal Belongings

Unless requested by the teacher, students are to leave ALL electronic devices, toys, figurines and fidget spinners at home or if it is absolutely necessary that your child bring Pokemon cards, a toy or electronic device (cell phone, iPod, gaming device, etc.), they remain turned off and kept in backpacks. They are NOT to be brought out during the school day. The school takes no responsibility for toys/devices brought to school.

Bikes, In-Line Skates and Skateboards

For safety reasons and to comply with the law, we expect helmets will be worn when riding bikes. Bicycles, in-line skates, and skateboards are not allowed to be used on CBE property.  The school cannot accept the liability for accidents caused by their use.

Students riding their bikes to school are asked to dismount once they reach the school grounds and walk their bikes to the bike racks. Students are strongly encouraged to lock their bikes and to keep their bike lock combinations private or their keys in a safe place.

Personal Property

For safety reasons, students are to leave lacrosse sticks, hockey sticks, etc. at home. We also advise that expensive items such as electronic equipment stay at home. The school is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Cell Phones

Students are not to use cell phones while at school. School phones are available for students who need to phone their parents during the day. If, for safety reasons, parents wish their children to carry cell phones, the phones can be turned on once the students are on their way home.

Using phones to take or distribute pictures of other students is not permitted.

Lost and Found

Found clothing is placed in the Lost and Found. Children/parents should check the Lost and Found frequently for lost items. If items are not claimed within a reasonable length of time, we will donate them to charity.
