Basketball Practices

We thank our Wolves for the enormous commitment shown in attending try-outs over the last two weeks. Teacher coaches are making decisions about the team based on previously observed basketball skills demonstrated in PE class, together with potential, positive attitude and level of dedication towards participating in school athletics. Selected players may be asked to sign a student athlete contract to ensure a high calibre season.

Morning practices run from 7:45-8:45. Afternoon practices run from 3:45-4:45. Next week’s practices for selected team players are as follows:

Mon. March 20 - AM Senior Boys, PM Senior Girls
Tues. March 21 - AM Junior Girls, PM Junior Boys
Wed. March 22 - AM Senior Girls, PM Senior Boys
Thurs. March 23 - AM Junior Boys, PM Junior Girls

This year in Woodman Athletics we are shifting our approach to athletics to better meet the needs of our students.  As a school we are always looking for new and innovative ways to better support the learning of all students and we are applying that to our athletics program. This year teams will be split into two streams.
